Rainton Bridge is Sunderland's newest and most exciting business park. Launched as a partnership between Goodman and City of Sunderland Council in 2005, 3 major developments have taken place already at the 55 acre park:

  1. The City of Sunderland Council completed its 50,000 sq ft Evolve Innovation Centre in 2006 now home to 25 companies.
  2. Goodman's Phase 1 Rainton Business Village, comprising over 103,000 sq ft in 5 units also completed in late 2006.
  3. Goodman constructed a new 229,000 sq ft corporate facility for Northern Rock, completed in 2008 and acquired by N-Power in 2009.

 

As a result some 4 years into the life of the park, 30 acres (57%) of the park is developed, at some 382,000 sq ft of modern business spacehas been constructed.
